26-Feb-2012 Ups & Downs
Hello my dear friends!
Hope you are all doing well!
Time to update you with some news!
I didn't have a very successful start this year at the tournaments, and didn't go so well in Doha and Dubai as I expected to do better! But there were a few changes in my team and my fitness program during pre-season that it's not easy to adapt fast and get used to new work! But now I've organized my program and the team!
You know what, I always keep my head up whatever happens. There are always up and downs in tennis, it's just a few not very good tournaments for me, just a few tennis matches lost that were close, so I'm still enjoying the life and gonna keep on working hard to improve!
Let's speak a little bit my time off-court! Most of you probably saw my photo on Facebook with my dog that I spent some time at home after Dubai, was so nice to see so much snow. I miss not being at home and hang out with friends! Also I tried snowboarding and was totally excited about that. I'm in love with this sport always have, I posted photo about it on Facebook joking I might switch to snowboarding which was the joke of'course, it's a lot more dangerous than tennis, but fun! From now on, it's gonna be my hobby off-court when I have some free time + i love mountains!
Now I'm in Las Vegas for some hard work with Adidas team before Indian Wells and Miami! Love coming here!
If you have any questions, just send them to me, I'll be happy to answer and as always will keep you posted on Facebook!
Hugs
Nastia <3

Don't stress over the up & downs, it's normal and you're very young! The most important thing is to work very hard and keep that great mentality. It takes time for a player like you to live to your potential, because you have a lot! Do you know how talented you are??? More than any player of your generation, including recent grand slam winnerS... ;) If they can, be sure you can too!!! :)

Hi Nastia,I like that you are trying to communicate with your fans, maybe you have seen me commenting on you facebook page often (my username is OneofaKind Gaby),I like your way of being, you always gived me the feeling of a nice and very friendly person. No doubt that I like your tennis and maybe it sounds weird I like the sound that you make after you hit the ball,it's natural unlike at the other players.I've expected you to play better this year but I know that you had problems with your shoulder and maybe still is not completely healed,I thought this is the reason why you didn't played so good this season.I'm glad to heard that you are so confident.I would like to know how is your shoulder now and also if you plan to get a flat abs.I hope the second question doesn't bother you.I hope everything is going well for you off-court.I can't wait to see you back winning,I wish you a good time :) kisses
