Anastasia was an award presenter at the 2010 Russian Cup Awards last Saturday. She appeared on stage to hand the award to young female tennis players in the Team of the Year category, which she won in 2006. She was also honoured as the Newcomer of the Year in 2006.

Third seed Anastasia lost 6-0, 6-1 to Ana Ivanovic of Serbia in the opening round of the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions. It was the Russian’s third loss in three career meetings against the Serbian.
